Sara is an Italian Australian artist based in Mparntwe/Alice Springs. They are passionate about using photography as a medium for creating connections, provoking critical reflection and telling stories. Sara's personal work revolves around concepts such as identity, culture, nostalgia, migration, class, gender and the beauty in the small stuff.
Also an (ex) social worker, Sara uses photography as a means of social and political commentary outside of the constraints of the ngo and government sectors.
Sara's professional work focuses on portraiture, artwork archival, event documentation and product shots. They are currently working as a freelance photographer and framer at Chapman and Bailey in Mparntwe/Alice Springs.
Sara's work is held in private collections around so called Australia.
